Two-coloured trousers

Hi everyone

I always like to invent new types of clothes for the dolls I knit.

A while ago, I came up with this two-coloured pair of trousers.

Why don’t you try them?

Two-coloured trousers

Leg (make 2 in 2 different colours)

  • * Begin at the lower end and cast on 26 sts.
  • K 2 rows.
  • Beginning with a K row, st-st 188 rows*.
  • (K1, K2tog) x 8 (18 sts).
  • K 2 rows.
  • Cast off leaving a long end.
  • First sew the upper parts together, then the legs.
  • Sew the top of the trousers to the first row of the jumper of the doll.
  • Sew a button on the front and one on the back of the trousers.

Brace

  • Cast on 30 sts.
  • K 1 row.
  • K3, yo, K2tog, K21, yo, Ktog, K2.
  • K 1 row.
  • Cast off, weave in the ends and attach to buttons on the trousers.
