Hexagon

Hello!

This post is all about the hexagon I discovered a few weeks back and changed a bit..

I have used it for Christmas stockings, which I’ll explain how to make in one of my next posts.

Hexagon

Round one

  • Take the first colour and make a magic ring.
  • Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2.
  • (3dc, ch2) x 5.
  • Close with a sl st in the top of the ch 3 made at the beginning of the row (or use the invisible method).
  • Weave in the ends.

Round two

  • Take the second colour.
  • In any ch 2 space: ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc.
  • In the next ch 2 space: 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc (repeat in the remaining ch 2 spaces).
  • Close with a sl st in the top of the ch 3 made at the beginning of the row (or use the invisible method).
  • Weave in the ends.

Round three

  • Take the third colour.
  • In any ch 2 space: ch 3, 1 dc, ch 2, 2 dc (repeat this in all ch 2 spaces).
  • In the following space between 2 ch 2 spaces: 3 dc (repeat this in all spaces between 2 ch 2 spaces).
  • Close with a sl st in the top of the ch 3 made at the beginning of the row (or use the invisible method).
  • Weave in the ends.
